well “mr. g”..the magic bus
looks really good..all of the trace posters that we made out of
pictures from some of the million pictures that we have of him
turned out really good..i think that we have a poster of him in
every position that you can imagine and then some..it’s like
we’re sitting in trace heaven!!..i don’t know which way to look
first..oh..heehee..i see one that “pops” out at ya..wonder how
long it will take the adkinette’s to find it!!..sitting here
surrounded by trace could make a girl blush..but oh how nice it
is..the only problem is i don’t know where to look first what a
problem to have!!..thank you for getting my “big as life” trace
out..he looks very comfortable standing at the back of the
bus..there is going to be a fight to see who gets to sit in
those seats back there..
i like how you decorated
your little part of the bus..you almost have as many pictures of
kasey kahne your favorite nascar driver plastered up there as we
have of trace..i know that we’re going to be in alabama and that
this weeks race is going to be in talladaga alabama..but
montgomery is not anywhere close to talladaga..you can get a
peek at the track as we fly over it on our way to and from the
show and maybe see the #9 car...
it looks like a beautiful
day to take a magic bus ride to montgomery alabama.. and i know
that all of the adkinette’s are looking forward to meeting up
with gina so we can hop into the pocket of her big ol’ tracin
bag and go see the man tonite!!..so let’s fire up the bus and
point it down south..i know that the ladies will be ready and
waiting for us..
and waiting for us they
are..we have adkinette’s standing on their roofs..jumping up and
down in their front yards waving their hands like crazy so
you’ll see them do you think that they are ready for some big
time tracin tonite?...heehee..i think so too..well let’s get
those girls up here and settled in so we can keep on heading
towards bama country!!..boy that sure was nice of our friendly
genie to pick up..you texas and florida ladies..it was a little
out of the way to swing your way..it’s so good to have our very
own genie!!
now that everyone is here i
have some goodies for you..i had special tracin outfits made
for us for tonite’s show..i had hot pink sequin tops made for
us..the way the shimmer with every move we’ll look like mine
strobe lights and we have enough sequins to light up the place!!
and we’ll really be “stylin” wearing these really neat leggings
I had made to go with our sequin shirts..how do you like having
a full size trace on each leg..talk about being up close and
personal..you can’t get much closer than this!!!..ahhh..i see
that you noticed what picture i used..i know it’s not “mobey an
the boys”..but the "next best new and improved" one..i wanted a
full body picture so we could be wrapped with trace from the
waist all the way down the leg..and look..you move your leg and
he moves with you..i can see there is going to be lots of “lift
and kicks” tonite!!..i had an adkinette tool belt just like
donna’s made for everyone..and it has all the adkinette
necessities in the pockets.. there’s a camera in one you never
know when the “perfect” picture opportunity will happen so you
want to be prepared!! there is also a big roll of purple duct
tape..and i’m sure that you will find an opportunity to use
it..with your sparkly sequin tops and all the sparkles on your
tool belts..especially that “big A” buckle..you’re going to need
the pair of sunglasses that are in one of the pockets of the
tool belt..don’t want anyone to go blind and land flat on your
face on the stage..would hate to have to send “mr.g” up there to
rescue you..heaven help us what would happen if he was set loose
up there!!..what’s cool about these sunglasses is that trace’s
face in on the lens so you’ll always see him when you wear
them..but yet you can see thru him so you can see where your
going..
uh “mr.g”..we have a
surprise for you..since we are just about over talladaga we
thought you might like to be dropped off so you can go to the
race while we go see trace..who’s going to drive the
bus?..well..johnna still has her bus driving license so she’s
going to take over the wheel..you’ll be leaving your “magic bus”
in good hands..so grab that bag that is sitting next to your
seat..it has everything you’ll need for your time at the
race..your kasey cooler is in there filled with your favorite
sandwiches and cold drinks..and of course your kasey coosie is
in there to make sure your drink stays cold..it’s a little
warmer here in bama country than it is when you go to the race
at home..and yes I remembered to pack your kasey shirt..hat and
seat cushion..and we even made arrangements for a place for you
to spend the night..so all you have to do now is move over so
johnna can get behind the wheel and then put this parachute on
and we’ll open up the doors and jump..are you ready?..ok..on the
count of 3..1..2..3!!!!..and away he goes..bye bye “mr.g”..have
fun at the race..we’ll pick you up on our way home!!!..i think
by the great big smile on his face he's real happy about us
sending him dropping down to talladaga!! well now that we have
“mr.g” on his way to watch the race it’s time to hit the gas
johnna and get us to montgomery cause we got some tracin to
do!!!

that montgomery I see down there??..well if it is we better get
busy and do some “fluffin and puffin” ..and get our tracin
outfits on..we want to make sure we’re all beautified for when
we land..gina has her big tracin bag waiting for us..yep..the
one that made national television..so there will be lots of room
for us to ride in..she’s going to be waiting for us when we
land..speaking of landing have you found a place to set the
magic bus down yet “mr.g”?..oh good..ok ladies..hang on
tight..we’re just minutes away from a night with the man!!!

words!!...here we are..nice landing johnna..you haven’t lost
your touch girl!!..thanks for taking over for “mr.g” so he could
go to the race..poor guy was pouting something fierce when he
found out that we were going to be flying right over the race
track in talladaga..i don’t think his lower lip could have stuck
out any further!!..now that we have landed let’s see about
getting off the bus and see if we can find gina and her big ol
tracin bag!!..oh look i think that she founds us..here she comes
running just as fast as her little legs will carry her!!..hey
girl..i see you got the package I sent you with the tracin
outfit couldn’t leave you out..and before i forget..here’s your
“tracin tool belt”...there is a bunch of goodies in the
pockets..alrighty then.. what do you say that we get ourselves
in your big ol tracin bag and head inside and get this tracin
party started!!
whew..it’s a good thing that
bag was a big as it was..other wise we would be one big squished
adkinette pancake..and our sequins would have gotten bent all
out of shape!!..i think gina has found her seat..so let’s take
one last look see to make sure we are all “fluffed and puffed”
and simply beautiful before we jump out of the bag..oh yeah..we
are one bunch of “hot mama’s” tonite..let’s go have us some
super duper tracin fun!!!!

with the little platform on the back of my chair the ladies
should be able to see real good don’t ya think ladies?..ladies???..umm..i
seem to be missing a few adkinette’s.. guess they decided that
they didn’t want to watch from the platform tonite but wanted to
go up on stage and strut there stuff with the man..uh gina..boy
did she move fast..must be she decided not to let the girls have
all the fun tonite up on the stage while she stood out here and
figured she’d join them up there.. well guess I can’t blame
them..i would go up there too if i could..whoah!!!!...uhhh..wait
a minute…sniff sniff…there is that smell
again..dang if i can’t figure out where i have smelled that..as
good as it smells you think i would remember it..but it seems to
come around anytime i get picked up and plopped somewhere..like
on the STAGE!!!!..what in the heck am i doing sitting on top of
this box right on the side of the stage???..ok my friendly genie
I guess you were reading my mind a minute ago when i said i
wouldn’t mind being up here with the girls..well thank you..i
guess it was you..anyway this is an awesome seat and I’ll be
able to watch trace and all of the shinanagins of the girls..oh
and just in time cause the lights are dimming and I see the big
trace is up on the big screen ohhhhhh I got me a case of big
time tracebumps!!..
geeze..that felt like a big
breeze blowing by..a breeze that felt like it touched the top of
my head and wait a minute..sniff sniff…i’m going crazy or
something cause i just smelled that “oh so good” smell
again..hummmm..one of these days..well that thought is going to
have to wait for another time because out of now where trace has
appeared and he is standing bigger than life out there center
stage..so that means only one thing..the show is about to
begin!!!
Woo hoo!!..here we go..he’s
starting right off the bat with his “game on”..and he’s
definitely giving us all “one hell of a ride”!!..and there are a
few others on the stage that have their game on too..their
“groove” is on and they are shaking their sequin tops as hard as
they can to flash their “bling”..i’m getting dizzy just watching
them!!..i’m really glad that I put my tracin shades on before
the show started!!..if trace were to look down right now he
would be blinded by all the light bouncing of those sequins!!
oh yes..this group of ladies
love their country boys..especially one that is one tall drink
of water..and they are all shimming and two stepping as fast as
they can to get over to where trace is standing so they can get
close to their favorite country boy..i’m glad that they found
the white shiny tall boots that i had for them in their
bags..they look real good high stepping around the microphone
stand!!..trace is going to wonder why he’s so wiped by the time
the show is over..not realizing that he’s getting extra exercise
from being on all those leggings!!..oh and they sound so good
doing the “nana’s”..so prettygirls!!
this must be one of his new
songs..”hillbilly rich”..and poudung proud!!..oh yeah he’s
having fun with this one..horns on his caddy and a swimming pool
shaped like a guitar..now that is one that we would love to
float around in..humm.. i seem to be missing a few adkinettes
uh..more like all of the adkinettes..now where have they gotten
off to?
oh there they are…and i see
that they have added a couple new accessories to their “tracin
outfits”..they must have got a peek at the playlist..cute very
cute ladies!!..love the silver sequin baseball hats with
adkinette’s written in hot pink on them..and where in the world
did you find hot pink baseball bats with “swingin adkinette’s”
written on them that small?..no..let me guess..good ol’ “mr.g”..i
wondered what he had been doing out in his woodshop the last
couple nights..i could here his lathe running all the way in the
house..he must have gotten lil’ red to do the painting..since he
does not like to paint!!..well they did a great job and you
ladies have your “swing” down pat..left right left right left
right left..yep..keep on “swinging” all the way across the
stage!!..only watch out that you don’t get too close to the
edge..we do not need to have a pile of adkinettes on the
floor..remember “mr.g” isn’t here to come to your rescue!!..i
wish you all could see what i’m seeing..you swing is matching
trace’s swing to a “T”..although..and no offense but I think I
prefer to watch trace’s swing..ahhh yes..ya gotta love the view
from up here on this box..i can almost see that skoal ring
swaying back and forth..of course the only better view would be
sitting center stage..right in front of the microphone
pole..looking up..watching the “big A” swinging back and
forth!!
ohhhhh..be still my
heart!!!..and I can see by all the smiles that their hearts are
going “pitterpatter” too..how lucky can a girl get..going from
“swing” to “thinking thing”!!!!..now i really wish i was sitting
up front..and that little pink blob that is flying across the
stage is heading that way must have had the same idea.. boy..i
didn’t know they could move that fast..from flying to sitting in
1 second flat!!!..and i see they are going to take advantage of
this picture perfect opportunity..as fast as they are taking
pictures it’s a good thing their camera’s have fully charged
batteries in them..can’t wait to see those pictures..the “boys”
will be well documented tonite!!
donna is going to be really
excited..two oldies in a row!!!..sure am glad that i remembered
to put in the “tracin flashlights”..i would have been in big
trouble if they didn’t have them to wave during “every light in
the house”!!..ohhhh..it’s a good thing that they are sitting
down cause kathryn is about to fall over..yes kathryn he’s
singing your song..now who’s wearing a big crooked
smile!!!..hey it’s time to get “rough and ready” and a date for
our kate!!..i love his new songs but you just can’t beat some of
the old ones..thank you trace for taking us on a trip down
memory lane!!

might was well be talking to myself..oh well i’ll have to
remember to tell them when we get back to the bus that the video
for “muddy water” airs on monday on both cmt and gac..boy..it
didn’t take long for the “trace bumps” to come out “muddy water”
is such a powerful song..the whole crowd is mesmerized..it’s so
quiet you could almost hear a pin drop!!..i can’t wait to see
how they do the video..
the “pink sequined hot
mama’s” are up and and kickin their “trace covered whited
booted” legs and doing the “adkinette hot mama” dance!!..snake
dancing in between and around trace’s legs..you go girls..show
em that “you WANNA”!!..that was a pretty smooth transition going
from the “adkinette hot mama” dance right into “sweeeet”..oh
yeah..keep shaking it ladies and show the crowd how “sweeet”
you are..oh now that’s cute..another additional accessory..belly
button rings..clipped to the waistband of your leggings!!..ohhhhhh..how
nice of trace to lift his t-shirt..he doesn’t need any diamond
bling or belly button ring..he has the “big A”..all bright and
sparkly!!..oh yeah..that’s our kind of “sweeeeet”!
now the clapping and
stomping begins..louder and louder..we want more trace..we want
more trace!!!..keep stomping those white boots girls..bring the
man back out for one more song!!!

some “badonkadonk” shakin!!!..strut yourself ladies..wiggle

well the lights have all

the stage sniff sniff..i must be going bonkers or something
because there is that smell again..and i could have sworn that i
felt someone whisper something in my ear just before i ended up
down here on the stage!!..it must be time for my medicine..cause
i must be imagining things..ok..back to rounding up the "sequin
covered" adkinette's and see about finding our way to the magic
bus..oh yoo hoo!!! calling all adkinette's!!!..oh there you
are..it's kind of hard to see and i must have dropped my "trace
light" when i landed down here on the stage..don't ask..i have
no idea how i got down here..let alone how i got up on that box
to begin with..it was all very strange..you all look liked you
were having a tracin good time out there tonite..and i must say
that you all were shining very brightly out there!!..i don't
know about you all but i'm all pooped out from watching you
ladies shimmying and shaking and swinging all over the place..so
what do you say we call it a night and see about finding our way
back to the magic bus..hop on and we'll put my super duper
w/chair in high gear and get us there in no time!!
whew..it's a good thing that
my chair doesn't operate on super-duper speed very
often!!..everybody all settled in..well then..let's say good bye
and good night..it was definitely a hot time in bama country tonite!!
