I met saw Trace for the
first time at the WKLB
Country Music Festival in
1997.
My friends and I won really
great seats for this event.
They had five acts that VERY
HOT JULY afternoon. Severe
Thunder and Lightning Storms
almost cancelled the
festival. Thank the good
Lord the show went on and
the rest is history!
As I recall, Bryan White
was the first act. Trace
was the second act. He came
on the stage and sang EVERY
LIGHT IN THE HOUSE IS ON and
I said to my husband Oh that
is the guy who sings that
beautiful song. THEN THE THUNDERBOLD HIT ME AND MY
GIRLFRIEND!!!!!!! Trace
sang and did the famous
SNAKE DANCE to THINKIN THING
and we have never been the
same since. Went out and
bought that DREAMING OUT
LOUD CD and requested him on
the radio every week. My
relatives and friends
stopped answering there
phone because I got them to
do the same thing.
I got a computer for
Christmas that year but
didn't get online until
February that is when I met
the girls on Trace's message
folder. They were so nice
to me and invited me to go
to fan fare that June in
Nashville.( 1998 ) I met
Trace in person and was
amazed that I could actually
talk to him. I have
learned that country music
artists are unlike any other
entertainers. They are down
to earth and really
friendly.
The friends I have made
online ( Tracer buds as I
affectionately call them )
have added a dimension to my
life that words just cannot
express. I may not get to
talk to them as often as I
would like to but I know
they are there for me. Even
some are there in spirit!
In closing I would like
to say to anyone reading
this WELCOME!!Come
join us we LOVE NEWBIES!
