I'm
Katie who lives in
Dallas TX...... happily
married to the love of my life, and
between us we have 4 grown
kids and 8 grankids. Our
home is run by a "tuxedo" kitty named
Rocky. I am a nurse working
for a major Insurance
Company and my hubby is
retired. I love genealogy
research and sewing and of
course TRACE!
I happened
across the AOL Message
Boards for Trace after I
first saw him on GAC singing
one of his very first
video's........ I was
totally blown away......
finally getting to see the
face behind the deep voice I
kept hearing on the
radio. The first thing out
of my mouth was "whew......
what a HOTTIE he is".
After I saw him on
TV I did
a search on AOL for him and
that was where I found the
message folder. I kinda
jumped right in there and
the rest is history. That
had to be 10 years
ago ...maybe a little more
now. I've seen Trace
several times over the
years. The most memorable
one was around 1999 or so at
West Bend, WI at a county
fair. Talk about up close
and personal! Woo Hoo! Was
worth every minute of the 10
hours in 100 + degree heat
for that show.
I have the
distinction of bringing the
name "Adkinettes" to our
little family. It was a
name that I didn't come up
with, but it just evolved
from someone I knew at the
time. He always asked what
the "Adkinettes" were up
to........ and so the name
stuck. I have had the
pleasure of meeting many of
the Adkinettes and we have
all shared life's ups and
downs over the years.......
and I for one cannot imagine
life without my fellow
Adkinettes in it. We have
an unbreakable bond and hope
that Trace knows how strong
we are and how proud we all
are of him and his
accomplishments. We feel
like we've taken the ride on
the wave to success right
along with him. Trace is a
class act....... and the
Adkinettes are proud as can
be to be a small part of his
success.
