Katie's Getting Married!
I had "mr.g" dig out my big box of goodies from
our "adkinette" adventures and i think i should be able to come
up with some really good things to decorate this place up just
right for our big party..i just hope i don't fall into this
box..i forgot how big it was.. and how much stuff i have
accumulated over the years..so if you happen to notice that i'm
not here with you all..kicking up my heels.. tip the box over
and rescue me ok!!..alrighty i better get busy and get this room
all prettied up before our guest of honor arrives!! ;0)
bababa big time party
time!!..i'm so glad that we decided to throw this party..and i'm
so glad that i didn't fall into that big box that is sitting
over in the corner..you would have never have found me.. even if
you had tumped it over..there was some purple duct tape stuck to
the bottom of the box and my luck i would have stuck to
that!!..oh well..box is emptied..and the room is decorated in
everything and anything trace that we have collected in our
travels over the last 9 years..we have lots of chrome balloons
to go along with some real pretty hot pink ones that have
trace's face on the front of them..and i love the silver sign
with the big yellow moon hanging over in the corner that says
"take her to the moon"..i thought it is bachelorette party
appropriate..oh look what else i found that i just had to put
out..they must have been ann's.. it's a set of big bright red
tail lights!!..thought they would look good right over the
door..and they even flash!!..i also found a couple of lamp
shades that i know were ann's..i hung some bright hot pink
scarves over them that came from many of the dances you ladies
did while on stage.. we have trace towels to sit on.. face side
up of course..that way if we want we can all roll up in them and
have ourselves a nice big ol' trace hug!!..a girl can never get
enough of those!!..they even have that "hug" smell..
heehee..yeah i just had to try it out to make sure..couldn't put
out defective towels now could i ....
I had so much fun putting up
all of the pictures that we took of our "on stage"
activities..oh the memories they bring back..you ladies sure had
a blast up on all of those stages we were on!!..how do you like
that big ol' cloud hanging in the corner..yep..it's our very own
special "24/7" cloud.."i'm in heaven..24/7..your the only thing
that matters to me.."..just where we want our newlyweds to
be..forever!! ;0)
well now that everyone is
here..let's get things started.. someone turn on the cd player
so we can have trace singing to us as we party..all of his cd's
are in there so we should have plenty of tunes to keep us
going..and if someone else could hit the lights.. we can party
with pretty party lights..i found a bunch of lights left over
from when "mr.g" and johnna strung them all over the magic bus..
inside and out!!..i think we should leave them up after the
party..with all those lights flashing we'll never loose our way
home..and it definitely makes this place look a whole
better!!...
we have lots of goodies to munch on..and a great big..almost
life size "trace" cake..well of course it is made in the shape
of the most "famous" trace picture we have..heeheehee!!..don't
you love those "trace" plates?..i borrowed a picture from tammy
recent concert..yep..the one of trace..in his black born in the
usa t-shirt.. muscles bulging..big belt buckle and hips almost
touching the microphone pole.."mo-jo-ing"!!..heehee..yes i
know..you all would love to have been sitting on that microphone
pole..doing your famous "pole dance" with trace!!..by the looks
on his face i would bet he was singing "thinking thing"..ohhh
yeah you know the look!!..the napkins have trace's famous
"crooked smurk" on them.. wonder how many times you all will be
wiping your mouths?..yes there are plenty of them so you can
take some home with you..
we also have a big ol batch
of ann's strawberry margarita's..and "trace" shaped glasses to
drink them out of..ahhh..you like the straws do ya??..heehee..well..it's
is a bachelorette party after all!!..i have a special place for
our bachelorette to sit while she opens her gifts..right
here next to my life size trace cut-out!! ..here you go
katie..this is the biggest bag i could find..and..yep..there is
another one of tammy's pictures is on the front..the one with
his arm stretched out wide..only i kinda of added the bottom
half..and on the backside i added well..you can see what i
added..(all from memory too..pretty good memory huh!!)..yes..heehee..
that is a skoal can your looking at!!..i figured if we were
going to give katie a "trace bag" we better do it up right..and
big..and all she has to do is close her eyes and imagine those
great big muscled arms wrapping themselves around her!!..just
don't let gene know what your picturing behind that great big
smile you'll be wearing after one of those hugs!!..and
yes..there is a "trace bag" for each of you to take home..so no
more pouting!!..let's see..what do we have in that great big
"trace bag" for ya katie?..hummm
oh here are some yummy lady
godiva chocolate for you and gene to enjoy..some bubbles for
that big ol' tub i'm sure will be in your honeymoon suite..and
of course there is a big "trace towel" for you to dry off
on..here is a hot pink garter for you to wear under your wedding
outfit..and there are some used tissues for you..a special gift
from our guardian angel..you got to have some on hand..just
incase..and this white hankie is from us..with our names written
on it in blue..a bride has to have something blue.. that should
cover your new..borrowed..and blue!!..now what do we have
here...ahhhhhh..something every bride needs...a little red
thingy!!!...ohhhweeeeee..yep..you will definitely dazzle your
groom in this!!!..oh and to go with it...your very own..hot pink
spray bottle..just incase you have any fires that need to be put
out!!!..oh..here is one last thing...a pair of hot pink panties
with "badonkadonk" written on them!!!..oh now girls..do you
think i would forget about you..if you look in your "trace bags"
you'll see a pair in there for you too!!..ahhhh...you ladies
don't miss a thing do ya..thought you might like what else is
written on the hot pink panites.."adkinette's have the best "badonkadonks"!!!

well..what do we have
here???..did someone reset the cd player? .. i have sworn we
were on the "songs about me" cd.. hummmm.. well..i guess it's ok
that we hear "thinkin thing" again..alright..now what is going
on??..the lights have been dimmed..and the music is getting
louder..oh my!!!!...uhhhh..i'm not sure what is happening ..i
had nothing to do with this..this really big box that is rolling
towards katie...that is stopping next to katie..and..the top of
the box is coming off..and..OMG!! hahahahahahahahahha!!
someone please pick me up
off the floor and put me back in my chair..i have to see this
sitting up!!!..well..the t-shirt is the right color..black..with
born in the usa on the front..the cowboy hat looks real..and
there is the big "A" belt buckle..and the jean are tight..the
hips are swaying back and forth..it kind of looks like "mo-joing"..but
...but..but.. but.. someone tip up that cowboy hat...just what i
thought...."mr.g"!!!!!..what are you doing dressed like trace
and jumping out of that box???..oh..well..i guess if "he" was
busy it was nice of "him" to ask you to fill in for "him"..so
that katie would be surprised..uhhhh.. by the look on her
face..and everyone elses..you definitely were a very big
SURPRISE!!!!..what does that sign your holding say..if you would
stop doing whatever it is your doing..dancing??..well..ok..if
you say so..if you would please stop dancing we could read the
sign..thank you!!!!

oh..one last thing katie..friday night after you
say "i do" and you and gene are on your way out of the

well in a few hours our
happy wedding couple will be getting on their "wedding plane"
and heading to vegas to tie the knot..be sure to leave
yourselves a note so you won't forget to fire up your puters so
you can watch our happy couple say their "i do's"!! see you all
at the church!! ;0)
