Subj: Gina & Donna go to Fan Fair (CMA Fest)

Author : Karen Haagalright ladies..it's been awhile since we have taken a ride on the magic bus but what better time than fan fair!!!.."mr. g" has spent the last week getting rid of all of the dust bunnies that have gathered since it has been sitting in the back yard..and polishing it so it shines and we will arrive in Nashville in style..the thing is we are going to be traveling at night so we are at "3rd and Linsley's" which is where the fan club party will be held..after talking to Donna she said that she and her group are planning on being in line at 6 a.m..and we know that Gina and Debbie will probably be there too..they are hoping by getting there so early they will be there to see Trace pull up in his truck so they can all hollar out "catcalls"..and whistle loudly at him!!..and we certainly don't want to miss out on all that fun..we know that we have 3 pockets to ride in so we shouldn't have to worry about being scrunched up in one pocket in the Nashville heat..
so..if your up to an "adkinette adventure" pack your bags and be ready early tonight to jump on the bus when it pulls up..cause we all know that once "mr. g" gets behind the wheel his lead foot doesn't let up off the pedal for too long and I wouldn't want any one to have to ride hanging on to the door handle for dear life!!
we'll continue our "adkinette adventure" in the folder..so hope your all ready for a super duper fun time at the fan club party!!..see ya later tonight..;0)
ok "mr. g"..time to fire up the "magic bus" we have some adkinette's that are waiting for us to pick them up and head to Nashville!!..won't Donna, Gina and Debbie be surprised when we are all of a sudden plopped into their pockets while they are standing in line waiting for trace to get to the party!!..I'm so excited that we are going to share all the fun with them!!.."mr. g"...let's get this trip started!!
hey ladies... I'm so glad that we were able to get the "magic bus" fired up and working so that we could make this trip to fan fair!!..it's been so long since we have gotten the chance to get together and "play"..and what better place to go than Nashville and fan fair!!..i have some surprises for you in your seats..i made a hot pink satin pillow that will hopefully help keep the bed head away!!..i think you'll love the picture of trace and the "big A" on the front where we lay our head..so we'll be sweet dreaming all the way to nashville!!..the gift bags are filled with all the necessities we will need for our big day the most important item is a hot pink hand mirror so we can make sure that we are looking our best after our late night flight..can't have any pillow wrinkles on our faces or circles under our eyes..no siree..we want to look our best when we make our grand appearance..of course this isn't just a regular ol mirror..this mirror has trace's smiling face on the backside..and it faintly comes thru to the mirror side so when we look into the mirror to see what needs to be "fluffed and puffed" trace's crooked smile will be smiling back at us!!..
i had t-shirts made up..hot pink with purple lettering that says "trace's adkinette's" written in silver sparkles..(the better for trace to see!!)..on the front and on the back is a picture of trace with each of us..there is a bottle of bubbles..the little stick used to blow the bubbles has trace's face with his cowboy hat at the end of the stick..and of course the bubbles are pink and purple.. there are also "trace your adkinette's love you" flags for us to wave..they match our t-shirts so trace won't be able to miss us!!
karla i'm glad that you brought your margarita glass..you never know when a pitcher of strawberry margarita will show up!! now that we're all here and settled in our seats..let's grab our pillows and trace blankets and try and get some sleep..knowing how fast "mr.g" drives he'll have us there in no time..when we wake up we will be in nashville..so pedal to the metal up there "mr.g"..the adkinette's are ready to go!!!
morning ladies..i do believe that is nashville right below us..don't know about you guys but i think my "sleeptime"..snuggled up with my silky "trace" pillow was heavenly..almost hated to wake up!!..it looks like there is a storm brewing down there..i hope that "mr. g" can get the "magic bus" landed without too much trouble and hopefully the wind isn't too strong..i would hate for it to start spinning the bus out of control and have us end up in kansas.. toto..the tin man and the munchkins are not who we've come all this way to see!!
i think we have enough time to pull out our magic "trace mirror" and do a little "fluffing and puffing" before we land.."mr. g" is circling "3rd and linsley" looking for a place to land..hopefully he'll find a spot that close..would hate to have to try and walk between and around all those people standing in line till we find our girls!!
don't we all look fine..all gussied up in our "adkinette t-shirts"..we definitely do sparkle..and when the lights inside the bar and grill are going make us shine even more..we may just need to wear our "tracin shades" to make sure we're not blinded from the reflection of the light off of our sparklies!!
woah!!!..that's some mighty strong wind..about landed my behind on the floor..guess we better hang on tight till "mr.g" gets us safely on the ground!!
my goodness..that was quite a landing..maybe someone should check and make sure we're not in kansas!!..ahhh..we seem to be missing a few girls...i know we were all together when we were hanging on to hands and clicking our heels doing our "take us to trace" thing..and now were not all together..hummm..something strange is going on..and what is this "thing" that we are sitting on?
yoohoo!!!..where are you guys?...we're here..where are you?..ah..we're not really sure but our pocket is quite tight..a good tight..but tight..so is ours..i don't think these pockets are donna's ..gina's or debbie's..i don't think that their pockets are this tight ..and your right..it's definitely a good tight!!..well whoever's pocket we are in is moving so i guess we better just hang on and enjoy the ride..hopefully we'll figure it out when we get where ever these pockets are going!!
my oh my..that was a great "pocket" ride...although i thought we were going to get squished like a sandwich when our ride bent over..one thing for sure..we're not standing in line waiting to get inside..from the sounds of it we are already there...
hey girls over there in the other pocket..how ya doing over there?...have you figured out where we are?..yea we're doing great..a little squished but enjoying the ride..it smells pretty good..haha ..it's almost a guy smell..but we still haven't figured out who's pocket this is..have you?..no clue here either..it sounds like they have opened the doors and the party is about to begin..whoa!!...hang on ladies it feels like we are going on another ride!!
how in the heck are we and how did we get here?..it kind of looks like we are up on the stage cause there is a stool and a guitar..it felt like a great big hand just slipped into the pocket and pulled us out..and it looks like it happened to the ladies in the other pocket cause here they come..heehee..i wonder if we looked as "messed up" as they do from being squished so tightly in that pocket..i guess we'll have to spend the rest of the party in our "natural" look..thank goodness that look looks good on us!!...i think we better straighten our "trace t-shirts" and get our rears in gear and find us a place to sit cause i believe those are a size 13 cowboy boots walking our way!!
somehow i'm not surprised that you guys decided to sit on the wrung of that stool that just happens to be sitting in the middle of the stage..gee..wonder who is going to be sitting on the stool??..well it's a good thing that i brought along some purple duct tape so you guys can stick it on the wrungs so you won't fall off..but if your going to put it on you better hurry..those size 13 cowboy boots are almost here..i think i'll go sit over on the side of the stage..you ladies just behave..yeah right!!
looks like all of those ladies sitting out there are pretty excited to be here..they are quite a rowdy bunch!!..they are their clapping their hands and are on their feet chanting "trace..trace..trace"!!..they want the man to make his appearence..and here he comes..and boy is he looking hot this morning..he kind of looks shy to be listening to all of those ladies chanting his name...the adkinette's aren't to be out done..out comes the flags..as hard as you guys are waving them your poor arms are going to fall off!!..with all the air your stirring up trace's size 13's will be nice and cool in those boots!!..hang on tight ladies..trace is about to sit down..oh and better watch out..one of those size 13's is moving up to one of the wrungs..
phew..that was a close one..good thing his boot didn't pick your wrung to rest on!!..he's picking up his guitar..can't wait to hear him sing..just him and his guitar..ahhhh.. that voice..always gives me "trace-bumps" from head to toe..it definitely could send a girl to cloud 24/7 with a great big smile on her face!!..by the dreamy looks on you girls faces your feeling the same way..being that close to him it's like he's giving you a personal concert..just be careful not to fall off while in that "dreamy" state!!
question and answer time..boy these ladies aren't afraid to ask trace anything are they??..but heehee..you can tell that he's going to keep them guessing on a few of them..he's in rare form this morning..his answers to their questions are full of his humor..oh look..he's even blushing..don't see that very often!!..if he laughs any harder there are going to be a bunch of adkinette's falling and landing on their badonkadonks when the stools shakes!!
oh here comes rhonda and the girls..and it looks like trace's oldest daughter tarah and her family are here too..the girls are getting so big..and look at that adorable little angel..it looks like grampa trace doesn't mind having one more girl in the family!!..i see that the duct tape didn't keep you ladies stuck to the stool.. your going to have to jump really high to get to see the baby!!..silly me..should have know that you would find a way to solve the problem of not being able to see what was going on..the top of the stool is perfect height for you..now you can see everything!!
looks like it's picture time..everyone is lining up for their moment with trace..and the adkinette's are not going to be left out.. hahaha..the lights are bouncing off of the front of the t-shirts..it looks like fireflys have taken over the place!!..what a great place for you ladies..you always did like sitting on the brim of trace's hat..now you can be in all of the pictures..just hope the flash from the camera's don't bounce off of the sparkles on your shirts..everyone will wonder what that bright light is when they get their pictures back..it's a good thing your all so little.. otherwise the bunny ears and silly faces your making would really make them wonder what in the heck was going on!!..you guys are having way too much fun up there!!..uh..hang on ladies..here comes a couple short ladies..trace is going have to dip down for his picture with them..would hate for you all to tumble off of the hat!!..here comes our adkinette girls for their time for trace..and it looks like their pictures are going to get the star treatment..pink and purple bubbles..with all those bubbles you have trace waving his hand around his head like he's swatting flies..donna..gina and debbie are going to love it when they get their pictures back and see all those pink and purple dots..just hope none of them end up on their faces!!
ok ladies..the last lady in line is finished and trace is just standing there..if you hurry and wiggle on down from his hat brim and sit on his shoulders i'll get my camera out and get a picture with trace and his adkinette's!!..alright everyone set?..on the count of three give me your biggest trace smile..1.....2....3..oh yeah.. "trace we love you!!" is so much better than cheese..and i think he knew something was going on cause just when i took the picture he got this great big crooked smile on his face..it was either that or a whole bunch of adkinette's were doing some "big time" tickling!!..yeah that's what i thought.."big time" tickling!!
well ladies..looks like the party is over..everyone is packing up and heading out..guess that means it's time for us to go and find "mr. g" and the magic bus..i had a really good time at my first fan club party..i know that kathryn has been to one before but has anyone else?..i'm glad that we got to come!!
everyone got all of their stuff?..okie dokie then..jump on my chair and let's zoom out of here..oh my!!..do you ladies see what i see.. walking in front of us..i would know those pockets anywhere.. and..i think i know what it was that we were sitting on in them!!!..geeze louize..if we would have only known we would have never left those pockets!!!!..i think we're going to have to break out the strawberry margarita's when we get back on the bus..and celebrate one of the best "pocket rides" in adkinette history!!..oooweeeeee!!!!! ;0)
