ladies..time has come to get your "tracin
bag" ready for one more "pocket
concert"!!..the "magic bus" leaves
at noon tomorrow.. and..it better be
full..cause not only are we going to
go and see the man do his thing..i
happened to win special vip
backstage passes this morning..good
thing too..cause there wasn't going
to be any meet and greets..so we get
to go and get us a great big ol'
wonderfully smelling hug!!..so..check
you bag.. and..be ready for some big
time fun!!..see ya soon!! ;0)

ladies!!..the sun is shinning.. it's
a beautiful day..perfect day to do
some serious "tracin"!!..today the
"magic bus" will be driven by a
substitute driver..her name is
lynn..and..she's
my faithful chauffer..good friend..
and..big trace fan..so..while
"mr.g" and "little g" are off
cutting wood..to keep me nice and
cozy this coming winter..lynn is
going to make sure we get to the
show.. safe and sound.."mr.g" put her
thru some pretty tough driving
tests..just to make sure she got
everything done right..he gave her a
great big gold star..and gave her
"permission" to sit in his "seat"..he
said to let you all know that he
"will" be back for our next "adkinette
adventure"!!..
here is a
little fact about today's concert
that i thought you might like to
know before hand..the concert is on
an island..so..under your seats you
will find your very own personal
swim rings..don't you just love the
shape of it..a
big..black..plastic..cowboy
hat.. with trace's picture on the
front..and..your name on the brim..i
thought you would like
them..and..now we won't have to
worry about getting across to the
island..poor trace..when he heard
the news yesterday morning when he
was talking to the local dj..he
asked if he was going to have to
swim across..humm..
maybe i should have had a swim ring
made for and..sent it to him!!..oh
well..i'm sure he'll find a way to
get over to the island..and..when he
does..we'll all be waiting for him..
maybe we should take along an extra
"trace towel"..just incase he does
have to swim!!..we can "wrap" him up
in it..well..if everyone is all
settled in..let's see about getting
the "magic bus" moving..are you
ready up there lynn??..ok.. then
here we go..a "tracin"!!
hey lynn..that
was pretty good..you have a nice
touch when it comes to landing..we
better not tell "mr.g"..or he might
think he's replaceable..poor guy..he
would do some big time pouting if we
found us another driver..we'll just
have to have you join the ranks of "adkinette's"
lynn..that way.."mr.g" will be
happy!!..
will you look
at all those people waiting to get
to the island.. yesterday when the
the dj told trace that there could
be up to 8,000 people there..all
trace could say was..NO WAY!!..heehee ..by
the looks of it..the dj was just
about right..lucky us..with our swim
rings..we should be able to get
there way before everyone
else..let's get off the bus and see
about getting our rings on...oh
my!!..will you look at this..seems
like "mr.g" has been busy..looks
like he has put "little motors" on
our swim rings..heaven help us if
they are like the motor he put on my
wheel chair!!..if it is..we will be
flying over to the island..instead
of swimming!!.. well..guess there is
only one way to find out..don't
think we will need to be clicking
any heels today..but i hope that "mr.genie"
is watching out for us..just incase
we end up zooming all over the
place..and ..miss
the island completely!!..
everyone got
their swim rings on??..don't want
anyone to fall thru on our way
over..heehee..don't worry
ladies..there aren't any sharks in
there..so don't worry about anything
nibbling on your little toes!! all

that was some ride!!!..did wonders
on our hair..haha ..everyone's hair
is sticking out in every
direction..we're definitely going to
have to take a few minutes to do a
little "fluffing and puffing" before
we face the world..i'm going to have
to keep a closer eye on "mr.g" from
now on..he and his "ideas" are going
to get us in trouble one of these
days..heehee..but it was kind of fun
wasn't..did you see all of those
people looking up at us..trying to
figure out what all those "little
black dots" that were flying over
them were..good thing we were up
high enough..or else they probably
would have started to "swat" at
us..thinking we were some kind of
bug!!...
see..told you
we would beat them all over
here..now that we're here..i guess
we should find our preferred seats
lynn..you ladies can jump in this
big bag..there's plenty of room in
there for you..you can fix your
hair..and..anything else that got
all wind blown..oh..and be sure to
put lots of sunscreen on..don't want
anyone going home looking like a
fried tomato..with all this water
surrounding us..it wouldn't take
very long at all..there..you all set
in there??..ok lynn..let's see if we
can find a nice shady place to park
ourselves..and..maybe on the way we
will see if trace and the bus made
it to the island!!..he better..i
have those special back stage passes
i want to use..i'm in need of one of
those great big..wonderfull smelling
hugs..and..need to hear that soft
whisper of "darlin" in my ear..it's
been exactly 365 days since the last
time..and..that's way too long!!..
while you
ladies are "fluffing and
puffing"..i'll see if lynn can do
anything to my poor hair..being so
short..i look like a teeny bopper
with a "spike" hairdo!!..can't have
trace seeing me like this!!..HELP!!
okie dokie..lynn you did a wonderful
job calming down all those
"spikes"!!..now i won't get one of
those "looks" from trace..the one
that says.."uh..what happened to you
lady?"..hey girls..what is all that
"wiggling and jiggling" you are
doing down there???...oh..heehee..i
see you found another one of your
little "surprises"..don't ya just
love those new little "trace"
sunglasses!!..i
fell in love with them the minute i
saw them and had to have enough for
you all...not everyone has "hot
pink" sunglasses..with a picture of
trace on the lenses.. hang on a
minute..the reason you can't see out
of them is that you have to flip
them up..use the little tip..heehee..
yes..the little tip is also one
corner of trace's "crooked"
smile!!..there..now..how
cool is that???..we are definitely
ready for some tracin..with our
"little swim rings"..and..our little
"hot pink trace sunglasses"!!..i
brought along a few extra
pairs..just incase trace wants a
pair..for mackenzie of course!!

all "beautiful".. my driver will be
here in an hour..hopefully that will
give me enough time!!..i will be
back..with the ending of our "pocket
concert" as soon i can..so..you all

well..so much
for "preferred seating"!!..must be
named because that is where you
would "prefer" to sit..poor
lynn..your arms must be about ready
to fall off..how are you guys doing
in there??..all jiggled up
yet??..who would have thought we
would have to walk from one side of
the island to the other..let's pull
over there under that tree for a few
minutes so lynn can take a
break..from my "trace watch"..the
big hand is on trace's cowboy
hat..and..the little hand is on his
shoulder..so we still have a few
minutes before he takes the
stage..ahhhh..now this is better..i
was begining to melt out there in
that sun..here..i'll open up the bag
and let some of this shade and
cooler air in there..can't have you
all "melting" together down
there..would hate to try and pull
you apart later!!..dang..my hands
must not be working..i can't seem to
get the bag to open..if you can hang
on for another few minutes in there
i think we have spotted a good place
to park me..as soon as this crowd
parts a little..lynn will plow her
way in..
WHOAH!!!!...oh
thank you "mr.genie"!!..was hoping
you were up there watching out for
us!!!..but wait..this isn't the spot
we were heading for..now..this is
what i call "preferred
seating".. yep.. sitting up on the
stage is "preferable" than down
there amongst all those
people..and..all that sun!!..this is
definitely so much better!!alright..alright..if
you guys will hold still for just a
second.. i'll let you out..i know
your just dying to go "play"!!..now
let's see if we can get this bag
opened..it seems that the velcro has
melted together!!..i was afraid
something was going to melt while we
were sitting out there in that
sun..heehee..just glad it wasn't you
girls..now..let's see..what do i
have in my trusty "tracin bag" that
would get this opened??..hummm..
no..don't think the "elh" flashlight
will do...not enough power in it to
unmelt velcro..na..my "trace fan"
won't work..or will the "trace
towel" heehee.. no the purple duct
tape won't work!!..ok..ok..i'm
hurrying..but i just don't see
anything in here that will
help..well..now where did these come
from..boy..are you guys lucky that
our friend "mr.genie" is watching
out for us today..a pair of scissors
just dropped out of nowhere into my
lap!!..here lynn..i'll give you the
pleasure of breaking out our little
friends!!
boy..that
didn't take them too long to climb
out of there.. heehee.. must have
been a "tad bit" steamy in
there..saw some kinky hairdo's as
they were "flying" by!!..well lynn..
pull up a piece of the stage and
let's sit back and watch our
favorite "man" and.. "little ladies"
do their thing!!..i have a feeling
that this is going to be a good
show!!..this spot is so much nicer
than the one out there..only thing
is that sitting on the floor we are
only going to be able to see trace's
big ol' cowboy boots..do you see
somewhere we can climb up on..so we
can see the whole man???...hummm ..what
about....wheeeeeeeeeeeee...gee... "mr.genie"..you
sure are taking good care of us
today!!..whatever it is that you
have put us on is perfect..we
definitely can see all of
trace...thank you again..dang..he
always sneaks away before i can get
my thanks out..sniff..sniff...ohhhh..there
it is again..can you smell it lynn??..sniff..sniff...ahhhh..i
just love the smell..and..know i
have smelt it before..but for the
life of me..i can't place it...oh
well..one of these days my brain
will be functioning when it
happens..but today..i think i'll
just sit back..and.. enjoy it while

oh my!!!..the
time off sure did agree with
trace..i don't think i have ever
seen him looking "so"
fine..and..trim!!!..love the color
of his t-shirt..sage i think is what
they call it..goes real good with
his tan.. oh and it looks like his
pony tail has grown..and..his
beard looks pretty good..ooohhh
..wouldn't mind a "tickle" or two
from them..heehee!!..he's not
wasting any time..up goes the mic..and..out
comes..."more"..careful girl..you
don't want to fall off whatever it
is we're sitting on..think i better
duct tape you in so you don't end up
face first on the stage..haha..well..i
don't know..haven't ever had to ask
him...but..he just might come
running to your rescue and give you
mouth to mouth..let's try the duct
tape first..we wouldn't want you to
fall for nothing though.. there..just
a little of it on your behind..that
should keep you safe!!..ohhhh..don't
ya just love his "dance steps" to
more???...here.. take my trace
fan..can't have you passing out and
missing the rest of the show!!
ohhh..you have
to see this lynn..it's the famous "adkinette"
line dance..they always come out and
do one to "big time"..and..they are
very good..i see today they are
going with the "island" theme .. using
their "little black cowboy swim
rings"..and..wonder
where they found those
orange..purple and yellow
flowers??..they must have used some
of the crepe paper left over from
our "wedding adventure" to make
them..they look real pretty with
their "hot pink trace sunglasses"
that they are wearing..with the lids
popped up i hope..if not..we may
just see how much "cpr" trace
knows!!..heehee ..we're in trouble if
one of them thought about that..i
can see poor trace..giving "cpr" to
little black cowboy hat swim rings!!
ohh..here they go..little black
cowboy hats.."swishing and
twirling"..with their arms
"flapping" around..i think they are
suppose to look like they are
swimming..but..by
the looks of it..some have forgotten
how!!..oh..here come the
bubbles.. and..some of them are
bending down..while some are
standing on their tippy toes!!..up
and down they go..in a circle around
trace..i don't know where they come
up with these dance steps.. but..they
get better and better every time!!..i'll
bet this is the finale...yep..around
they go..to the front of the
stage..in a straight.. well almost
straight line..with their backs to
the crowd..bending forward..lifting
up their "little black cowboy hat
swim rings"..and..showing off their
"little hot pink undies"..that
say..WE LOVE TRACE!!!..clap..
clap..bravo ladies!!..well done
ladies..well done!!
wow..they sure
are fast on their little feet..one
minute their there..and..poof..the
next they are gone..hummm..wonder if
they are related to our friend "mr.genie"??..will
have to ponder on that one for
awhile..but later..right now i see
they are ready for some more "adkinette"
shanigans .. and..they are very good
at coming up with new ones..ohhh..i
think this is one of trace's new
songs.. nope..i should have
known..this is "a girl in texas"..by
the fact that there is one "adkinette"..in
her glory..and.."little black cowboy
hat swim ring"..and.."hot pink trace
sunglasses" ..lenses wide
open.. sitting there by his
feet..swaying to the music!!!..now
see that..that is a
"trace-trance"..a very deep
one!!..quick...look..over there on
the other side of the stage..here
they come..and..are grabbing our
"trace -tranced"
adkinette..and..dragging her off to
the back of the stage...hummmm..that
can mean they have something up
their little sleeves..wonder what
will happen this time????

what kind of trouble they are
brewing back there..they have missed
three of trace's new
songs..and..good songs they
are..very..very good!!..and..i think
that trace loves them too..just look
at the way he is getting into "scream"..and .."chrome"!!.ohhhh..baby!!..yes
ma'am..these songs are right up
there with "thinking thing"..lots
and lots of "mo-jo-ing" going on
there!!!..oh no!!..they had to pick
now to come running out...just as
trace wipes the sweat from under his
hat..and..from his face..and..throws
the towel down on the
stage..and..right on top of all
those "little black dots"!!..oh i
hope they can get
out..heehee .. well..maybe they don't
want to come out..considering it
"is" trace's towel!!!..here they
come... and..they all are looking
just a little bit flushed..

little "fiesty" up there..is that a

stage???..yep...it is..and..he's now

satisfied with the prank he has

the looks of it..they have their
very own little prank to pull..where
did they ever get those "little"
spray bottles with the fans on them?
now that ought to make a big mess..

some of the girls forgot to turn off
their fans..the water is going right

fixed..can't go back stage and get
"up close" with trace smelling like
dish soap and wearing "ooeee..gooeee"

comes.. trace's "big" finale..and..i
can see by the way he's starting to
"sway" it can only be one song..our
favorite "mo-jo-ing" song... "thinkin
thing"..heehee...looks like the
girls have heard the music
too..cause all thoughts of
"prettying up" have left their minds
and they have all turned back around
and are standing right behind
him..just waiting for him to start
"singing"!!..look at the looks on
their faces..like they are just
about to "hear" something real close
to "heaven"!!! jeepers..one of these
days our friend "mr.genie" is going
to give me a heart attack..he always
surprises me..one minute i'm in one
place and then the next we are
somewhere else..he's so good at
taking care of us..just wish he
would give me a little warning
before he "sweeps" me up and

backstage access tags..with trace's
picture on it.. and..it's on a pretty
green cord..guess that means we are

bag is jiggling...oh..i see that "mr. genie"
also made sure that the "adkinette's"
made it back here safe and sound..
heehee..they must be in a mad rush
to get themselves all "fluffed and
puffed" again!!..can't wait to see
how they accomplish that feat..cause
they were really looking pretty bad
last time we saw them..let's open

of look like flys!!..guess we'll
have to wait till after our visit
with trace to try and catch
them.. cause ..right now we have
something better to do!!!

at what seeing the "man" does to
me..i am covered from my head to my
toes in "trace bumps"..i always get
tongue tied..and..can't seem to
behave like a normal person..but..i
love getting the chance to snuggle
up real close under that big ol'
cowboy hat..and hear "darlin"..it
just turns me to jello..and bless
his heart..being as hot as he
was..sweat soaking his
shirt.. "swatting" at those "pesty
adkinette's" that were flying all
over the place in their "little
black cowboy hat swim rings"!!..he
took the time to give me a few extra
minutes..to sign a very special item
for me..i hope i will be able to
read what he wrote.. since he was
trying to "swat" and write at the
same time!!..i just about fell out
of my chairwhen he said.."boy..you
sure do grow some "mighty" big flys
here in michigan!!"..heehee..if he
only knew!!..i'm sure that when we
get our picture's back lynn..they
will have lots of "little black
dots" in them!!..lynn??..oh lynn!!!..yoohoo
lynn.. heehee.. well..guess she's
turned to "jello" too!!..oh
great..how am i'm going to get the
both of us out of here..plus..catch
all of those "little black cowboy
hat swim rings" and get them back in
the bag..we have to be heading back
to the bus..and with our driver is
in a "trace-trance"..how is she
going to drive the "magic
bus"???..oh "mr.genie"..if your out
there..would you please do just one
more favor for me...well..two
actually..heehee..first i need to
catch all of those "little black
dots" that are buzzing all over the
place..and..then i would really
appreciate it if you could "toss"
them in my bag..and..put us on the
"magic bus"..and.. point it towards

24/7..and..forgot all about

of saturday's show..i have been
doing a little recouping..the sun
and me don't mix well.. but..that
wasn't going to stop me from going
and sitting in it just to see our
"man" do his thing..and..boy did he
do it up good.. those of you who are
going to go and see trace..you are
going to love all of his new
songs..as much as i love his other
cd's..this one is going to be the
best ever..he really dug down deep
and put his mark on this one..if
radio doesn't play him they need to
get their "ears" checked because it
has alittle bit of everything on
it!!..ok..i may be alittle
prejudice..but..the new stuff is
awesome!!..and..trace really gets
into each song..i have heard a
little rumor that his first single
is now out..so..it's time to put our
little "adkinette" fingers to
work..(yep pat..it's time to start
dialing that number!!)..calling our
radio stations and requesting
it..it's called.. "i'm trying"..i
don't know about the rest of
you..but i think it's time we start
hearing trace on the radio again..
so..let's get to work ladies
and..let's get trace back out there
on the radio..and..climbing the
charts..
ok..that pooped
me all out..so think i'm going to
lay back and return to the "ahhhhh"
state..up here on 24/7..hope you all

forgot..i would like to thank one
very "special" adkinette for helping
me find the copy of my last years
trace show..since it was one very
special night for me..i wanted to
take it with me to have him
sign..since he signed the begining
of it the night i saw him..but do
you think i could find it..no!!!..i
looked and looked..but couldn't find
it in my files..or here in the
folder..both katie and i did
everything we could think of to dig
it up..but..miss vicki came
thru..bless her heart..just before i
was to leave i checked my
mail..and..there it was.."my
story"..so..thanks
to our folder "pack rat"..i was able
to have him sign it for me..ok..am
really pooped out now..you all take
