"real" quiet if we're going to pull
this "stowaway" thing off...sure
glad she didn't put everything in
the moving van...i know katie likes
to travel light..so we're lucky that
she can't live without her
computer..and..her makeup bag..we
should all be able to "squeeze" in
nice and snug..and..make it to texas
without too many problems..
ohhh..why does
katie have a feather in her make up
bag??...huh??..well if katie didn't
put a feather in here...who
did??...pat..now why would you need
a feather???..oh..heehee..i
see...you put a nice pretty pink
feather on your "goin-stowawayin-
hat"...yep..it does look very
pretty..but...ahhh...ahhh...ahhh..choooo...it
also is tickling my nose!!...ohh...can't
sneeze...or rigamortis will start to
set in!!...ah...that will work..your
feather looks real pretty sitting up
there on top of the
hat...and...should be out of
"tickling" distance from everyone
one in here...

can do like pat did and turn that
comb upside down so you won't have
to be sitting on it all the way to

just love this little "tellie" you
made up for us gina...who would have
thought that the top of the
"wrinkle" cream bottle..with a
little hole poked in it and some
dental floss strung thru to the top
of the "mud mask face treatment"
tube top..you put in the laptop case
would make us a "tiny adkinette"
phone!!..good thinking gina !!..now
we can talk with the ladies riding
over there...yoohoo...makeup bag to
laptop case...can you hear me??
boy..don't know
bout you ladies..but...my ol' body
is in need some stretching!!..that
was one long ride..was hoping katie
was getting the hungries ...wasn't
sure how much longer i was going to
make it without screaming and
jumping out of the makeup
bag!!...how right you are kat..we
are definitely going to need to make
sure we grab all the "goodies" we
can get our little hands on tonite...
can't have any of us "fading" away
from hunger while "stow-awayin"!!..hope
the "foursome" we sent out to dinner
with katie can snitch us some "good"
stuff from the restaurant...that was
a good idea that vicki had about
sending two from each bag so that we
can make sure we get enough
"goodies" for both bags!!!..
ok...while they
are out eating how about we all find
us a good place to "camp" out for
the night...there should be lots of
good places here in the motel
room....heehee...thats for
sure..susy ...we won't have to worry
about other "adkinette" body parts
poking us in the middle of the
night!!!..and...no FEATHERS!!!...na

ohhhh...looks
like shari is going to share her
"camping" experiences with
us!!...you go girl...your the one
with the know how...so...your in
charge of "possible" sleeping
arrangements.. alrighty...is this

yourself..you came up with some
very...good places for us all to
sleep...i just love the one that
patrica..elise and theresa have
claimed as their "snuggling"
place..they'll be nice and warm
too..the three of them in katie's
slipper...just hope they jump out
before she puts her foot in it!!..oh
and i see that kathryn..shelley and
ellen have gotten their stuff moved
to their sleeping place... those
little tissue packages look like
they will be nice and soft... hey
pat...oh..heehee..i see you were
thinking the same thing i was..they
will make great "used" tissues for
your tracin bag!!..never can have
enough used tissues...now that is an
interesting place to sleep....what
did you do with all the
"little"shampoos and soaps that were
in that basket??...teehee...in your
pockets!!...and...by the looks of
it...there is enough washcloths to
go around and use as sleeping
bags...just hope katie doesn't grab
one in the morning to wash her face
with..oh..i see...you saved her
one...good thinking...
oh
boy....sounds like the gang is back
from dinner...can't wait to see what
they brought us to eat..don't know
about you'all..(hey...this texan
talk is contagious!!)..but...i'm
very hungry!!..places
everyone..napkins in place..and...pass
the "food"!!!!

we all feel so much better..and..now
we all can get a good nights sleep
on a full "tummies".. heehee... sorry
but i just can't stop
giggling...every time i think of the
look on kathryn's face when katie
brought her a small piece of "peach
pie"!!..it was priceless....i'm so
glad you were able to get a picture
of it johnna...i know it's one we
will want to add to our "tracin
album"!!...and...you ladies did very
good...that was quite a "stash" of
goodies you brought back to us angela...and ..shellie.. you girls did
good...and..look what Katie brought
back...i just love those little
crackers!!..and...it looks like
there will be plenty to get us thru
till we cross that texas line!!!...
speaking of
katie...looks like she is getting
ready to turn in...emails have all
been sent..laptop is off..so..guess
that means it's time for every
little "adkinette" to find their
beds and turn in for the night..oh
vicki..heeee...shari really didn't
mean for you to sleep in the
sink..she just wrote your name on
the mirror so you would think she
did!!...see.. tammy and joan have a
nice warm washcloth all set for you
to wrap up in...come on over
here... there's lots of room right
here by the heater...okie dokie...is
everyone all snuggled in??...good..let's
all get a goodnights sleep.. so we
can be ready to be up and going
bright and early...i think katie is
going to be want to hit the road as
soon as possible.... now..everyone
sleep tight...don't let them "bed
bugs" bite!!

drive thru's"..just love what you
used to keep the coffee in..that
empty shampoo bottle is working
great!!..and...there's no
"bubbles"!!!..you were so thoughtful
vicki...using the conditioner bottle
to put coffee in for us in the
"make-up-bag"..
ok..now that we
all have had our morning dose of
"go-juice"...and have finished our "oreo
and ritz cracker" breakfast"...we
can get all settled in for the
day...think katie said she was
hoping to hit texas late this
afternoon... so...that will give us
just enough time to swap "trace"
stories..and..if we run out of
"trace" stories..we can have us a
"trace-song'sing-along"!!...what
better way to help pass the time...and..if
we set the "tellie" by us we can
swap stories with the "lap-top
ladies"...how about that over
there..who wants to tell the first
trace story???...

don't think i can take any
more...please!!!..my stomach hurts
from laughing so much...the "trace"
stories were just too much for
me!!!...but..then again..so was the
"trace-singing"..it was pretty bad
...someone needs to help poor pat
and angela.. good thing for the sides
of the "makeup bag"..or else they
would be rolling all over the
seat!!!....and from the sounds
coming from the "lap-top-bag" they
have been having as much fun as we
have...but.. i can't think of a
better way to spend the day...this
has been so much fun...just being
together...even the "bags" are just
right for us!!!....

have a feeling that we are getting
very close to....oops....almost
