week... not quite sure "what" you
were doing ...but knowing you it

way before...but it does look real

glue works...woudn't want to have
you leave a trail of "silver glitter
and hot pink tinsel" all over the
fairgrounds!!!...heehee.... well...guess
your right...you wouldn't have any
trouble finding your way back to the
bus...neither would all of lima ohio!!

by the looks of it... everyone else
had the same idea that johnna
had... everyone is dressed up so
pretty....and so very
"sparkling"...we are going have to
hand out sunglasses to everybody in
the audience...once you ladies get
up the onstage..in your "party"
clothes....by looks of it.... there
can be any "glitter" or
"tinsel"...or "sequins".... left
anywhere...because they are all over
you girls... there aren't any body
parts...or clothing...left
uncovered!!!.... heehee...trace will
definitely see you ladies
coming!!...and by the looks of all
those "prettily" wrapped packages...i
can see you all remembered to bring
your "special" gifts for our
birthday girl!!..heehee...those
packages "sparkle" just about as
much as you all do!!!...well...since
everybody is here..what do you say
we get busy and get this "party"

purple....and...there are tiny
little purple steps made out of the
duct tape!!..oh and look... over in

brought us souvenirs from nashville....their
those little "umbrella" things that
you get in your drinks....and they
are really bright and
colorful....they will go perfectly
with your party outfit's..is
she good or what???...you guys will
have to remember to say a "big"
thank you to her while your up on
stage...ok lets get back to
business....we have a show to
do....lineup girls and..let's get

time off from playing here with all

cowboy boots!!!...look at
them...they look so cute....lifting
and kicking....to "big time"....ohhhh
look...now they're twirling around
and around....I do believe they are
doing the "dosie doe"....in and out
they go...and around and around... I
knew we were going to need
sunglasses for the
audience!!!....with all those lights
"bouncing" off all of the "glitter
and tinsel"...and the "sequins" on
their boots....we are all going to
go blind before tonite is
over!!..but they look so cute!!!

right you are jeannie...they may be
pretty..but underneath all that
"glitter" they are very,very
dangerous!!!..but they always have
so much fun and I'm feeling that
tonite is no different than any
other "pocket concert"...see what
did I tell you..there they go...in
six different directions..and i'm
sure they'll come up with six
different ways to make this another
night we won't forget it!!...heehee...i
think some of them must have some
sequins or glitter on the bottom of
their "little" boots...there goes
tracey..susy and tammy...slipping

go...it looks like they're going to
take Sharie... Regina and Brandy
down with them...it's quite a pile
there in the middle of the
stage...but a pretty pile!!!...here
comes Kim and Angela...Janet and
Joan to help pick them all up...it
looks like poor Regina landed on her
tail bone...by the way she's rubbing
it!!...but it doesn't look like its
going to slow them down any...cause
there they go...just in time to help
some of the others pulls something
out from under that big tarp over
there in the corner...that's awful
big "something" ...gee..wonder what
it could be?....heehee....I think
we're about to find out!!!

join the others over by the

stage..Darlene is trying to climb up
and join the other's.....good thing
she's not having much luck....every
time she throws a Ieg up...it comes
right back down!!....now she is just
standing there...with her mouth
wide-open...staring at trace..heehee....look...
he's waving at her..I'm not sure she
even sees him...she is in a
"trace-trance"!!..i think we've lost
her ladies...unless the security
people make her move ... i do believe
she will be up there till trace
leaves the stage!!!
well with
Darlene standing at the stage... her
chin resting as close to Trace's
boots as you can be..without being
in them...I wonder what other
unexpected things will happen
tonite..heehee...maybe I don't
wonder..i think i'm afraid to
wonder...so far tonight everything
has been unexpected... so I guess I
will just sit here and enjoy....theresa
and jeannie...keep a real close eye
on vicki... she just may decide bolt..and join Darlene....i know...I

handing out...well whatever it is
...they are passing it from one "adkinette"
to another...all the way up to the
front of the stage...and I see that
the other "adkinette's" are standing
off to the side of Trace.....if the
gleam in their eyes means anything
it means.... trouble!!!...and their
eyes are gleaming...and it's not the
bright lights bouncing off their
glitter...
oh no...don't
tell me they are going to surround
trace again...and ..do their "indian"
dance....nope...guess not...no
feathers tonite... not quite sure
what it is they have..but..i'm sure
they will let us know before too
long..they aren't real good at
keeping secrets ...they are still
surrounding trace....but...i think i
see something "wiggling" up above
trace....wait...is trace's hat
"wiggling"? ...yep...it is...and..so
is who ever it is that's up in his
hat brim.. they sure do love that hat
brim!!..but it looks like it is only
one up there...if she would just
turn her head...ahhhh...should have
known...kathryn...yep...she loves
that hat brim!!..now..what is she
doing?..looks like she is hooking
something to the outside of the
brim..wait...it's alot of "somethings"...ahhhh

cups..that is what she is hooking to

wanted to show trace that they would
bungie jump for him...at him..around

jumping now over the stage...thank
goodness everyone isn't mesmerized
by trace... i sure hope that they
can undo all those section
cups ....and un- tangle all of those
bungee cords...

to another....no sooner do their
little "sequined-hot pink" cowboy
booted feet...hit the stage....they

think it's time for "whatever" was
hiding under the tarp...because here
it comes out again..with

a huffing and a puffing...trying to
push "whatever" they had hiding...I
have feeling...that "mr.g" is behind
this one...I think it's time we to
find out just what he's been working
on out there in his wood shop all
last week.."it" must be pretty heavy
or else they are all pooped out
because they're calling in the the
"troops" to help push it to the
front stage ...but of course not
until they all have to stop and
"gawk" at trace ...doing "thinking

opening...the tarp is being pulled
away from the box....up pops a
deflateable birthday cake...out pops
ben "the dream maker"..down comes
hundreds of balloons....all with
traces face on the front..smiling
down at all of us..the "adkinette's"
are pulling something out of their
cowboy boots... their holding
up....pulling the trigger to what
looks like water pistols and their
pointing them everywhere.... trace
is starting to sing...."this one's
for you darlin".... "happy birthday
blue eyes"... the "adkinnetts"....are
running to the front of the
stage...lookout Darlene..they're
pulling out there
parasols...twirling them
around ....singing along with
trace.....they're opening their
parasols... they're twirling them..around..and..around..the
confetti is still falling... the
balloons are floating
everywhere..trace is still
singing ... to you..."happy birthday
blue eyes"...and...the "adkinette's"
are bending their
parasols....pointing them at you
vicki....and..they have "happy
birthday vicki" written on
them!!!....how is that for a new
song....and...a "special"
present...just for you birthday
girl!!!

stage... wrapped in purple duct
tape....heehee...she looks like a
purple mummy...and..boy..can she
run...guess we should of taped her

too...I didn't even have to twist
their arm..of what good friends they
are to sacrifice all to save a

well....another
"pocket concert" for the
books....one we will always remember
as the night of vicki's
birthday..the night trace first sang
his new song in front of an
audience...the first time a man has
popped out of a deflateable birthday
cake....the night that the "clean
up" people at the ohio county
fair...had to pry a lady's chin from
the front of the stage...and...pull
a "purple duct tape mummy" from the
lady who's chin was stuck to the
stage... the night that ohio was
"invaded" by balloons with trace's
face on them...the night that all
could see a path of sparkley... "glittler.. tinsle..and...sequins"
leading to a yellow "magic
bus"...filled with "adkinette's" who
were trying to "unstick" their
fingers from "confetti" shooting
water pistols..and...close pretty
little hot pink parasols..that have
"happy birthday" written on them...a
"big happy birthday"...for a lady
who was still stuck to the lady
who's chin has a big dent in
it...being pulled by a funny little
man..who while pulling them down the
sparkley "glitter..tinsled" path... eatting
an elephant ear...humming ..."happy birthday blue eyes"!!!
thanks again "mr.genie"...you
sure were a "big" help tonite...you
saved us all "big time"..that's for
sure....it's nice to
know....shoot ...he's
gone....well..guess it's time to put
"mr.g" to bed...and unplug "tellie"...she
kept going longer than my fingers
ever did ...instead of
sunglasses...we're going to have to
hand out reading glasses to everyone
who reads the "pocket concerts"!!!..and..this
"adkinette" is off to join the rest
of the "adkinette's" who should all
be in bed..like good "adkinette's"...snuggled
down deep under their covers...with
visions of trace...dancing in their
heads!!
sure hope you
had a birthday to remember vicki...and...it
was a night of your dreams...heehee..well...maybe
not your dreams...(we would be
arrested for sure!!)..but...one that
was as special to you...as you are
to all of us...we wish we all could
have been there with you...for
real...to celebrate you..and...all the
special things you have done for all
of us..but we were there..in our
hearts...wishing you the happiest of
all birthdays!!!
